Founder = Memeh from Banga. 4 sons = Jogge, Mannge, Yerba, Mangche. each founded hamlets = Mang-Njoge, Mang-Ben, Mang- Yermbaela, Mang-Chidi. Mang means crowd. Chief was Wakili Yaso, asst was Kalami. Chief is descendant of Memeh. 1977 Quarter heads were Ligimi replacing Kalami (asst Gangla), Tanimi replacing Tundonu (asst = Bakari), Dirwe replacing Yaso (asst= Jagiben) and Geshi (asst Mban). All speak same dialect. Trad. regn. 2x a year December and August. Dec- Jan is Nebin - guinea corn harvest. Sacrfice first fruits, then dance. Aug - Sept is Yiba after sowing g corn. Ngwah = tradl chief - drink from gourd in front of crowd who is silent while they drink several gourds full then they clap and cry "Ngwah moh".
